Abstract: Application of ICT on the structure, assumptions, operation process and decision making in garments industry results in huge benefits. This paper investigates the existing information about the ICT infrastructure of RMG sector of Bangladesh. It broadly encompasses three main objectives. The preliminary objective was to discover the general and advanced ICT applications which are being used currently in RMG sector of Bangladesh. The second objective was to investigate about the existing and probable barriers in using the ICT infrastructure and the third objective of this study was to evaluate the values obtained by using the ICT infrastructure model in RMG sectors of Bangladesh. A robust survey procedure was carried out to extract the information regarding this sector. An ICT infrastructure model is being proposed after analyzing the surveyed information. This paper reveals some crucial information about the three objectives including growing level of emphasis on the use of general and advanced ICT applications in RMG sectors, disclosure of several types of barriers for using the ICT infrastructure. Finally it realized the obtained values by using this infrastructure. This paper elucidates the positive impression for the use of proposed ICT infrastructure and advanced ICT applications.
